The dryer is of double walled
construction fabricated in sheets and main frame comprising
of fabricated M.S. angles and sections.
Dryers come in two versions of floor mounting type and with
steel bottom. The internal walls of the dryer can be provided
in Mild Steel /
Stainless Steel Sheets.
Doors : Double
walled doors are provided with handle locks and leak proof liner
to prevent hot air leaking out of the dryer. Insulation : Fiber glass impregnated glass wool pads/mineral
wool pads of appropriate thickness to suit the internal temperature
are provided for
insulation. Heating System : A choice of electrical / steam heating/thermic
fluid heating for drying air is offered. Electrical Heaters : Finned electrical heater bank
is provided on a placeable frame which is accessible for replacement
of the heaters /
maintenance. Steam Coils / Thermic Fluid Coils : Steam Coils with
fins of optimum surface area are provided depending on the temperature requirements. Accessories for Steam Coils : Steam inlet valve pressure
relief valve and steam trap are provided. Accessories for Thermic Fluid coils : Inlet valve and electrical
solenoid are provided.
Circulation Fan
: Variable pitch air circulation fan to handle the drying
air are driven by electrical motors. Flap type air dampers
are provided to
control the inlet air and exhaust of vapor laden circulating
air.
Temperature Control : An
electronic temperature indicator controller is provided to maintain
the desired internal temperature of dryer -
(1) The controller controls switching on and off
of the electrical heaters in case of electrical heater.
(2) The controller controls a solenoid valve in
case of steam and thermic fluid coils.
Control panel : An electrical
switch fuse unit is
provided along with contractors for fan motor which are interlocked
with heaters / solenoids. A volt meter and ammeter are provided along with
pilot lamp for indications of incoming phases.
Trolley : Mild Steel / Stainless
Steel / Aluminium trolley with four caster wheels accommodating
48 trays of 400 mm width x 800 mm length x 32 mm height are
provided for loading the trays in the dryer.
Trays : Products trays
of size 400 mm width x 800 mm length x 32 mm height can be
provided in Galvanize Iron Sheet / Stainless Steel
Sheet / Mild Steel Sheet.
Paint : The dryer is painted
internally with heat reflecting aluminum paint & externally
with hammer tone paint.
